I want to share with you my trip to Santorini last summer. If I have to find a word or two to describe this beautiful place is Dream and Solitude. At least for me, while overlooking at the cliffside villages out over the aegean sea, I founded so much beauty and solitude. The lyrics of the song of Lauryn Hill "Can't take my eyes off of you" came to my mind and that was exactly the caption I posted on my Instagram account on June 1, 2015.
Some of the places that I discovered in Santorini, was the Village of Oia, which is located northwest edge of the Island. Here I watched the sun melted down below the horizon and experienced the most beautiful reverie as the sky turned into all colors. Another place was Santo Wines Winery, it has a large terrace overlooking the caldera and I savored the most amazing sunset while I enjoyed a sweet glass of wine. The Red Beach, which is located near Akrotiri, was my favorite spot. I found so much magnificence in its vibrant red sand and boulders. I have never seen anything like it before.
I spent 9 days on the island and I stayed at Evgenia Villas which is located in a very quite part of Thira capital, but close enough and about 10 minutes walk to the town.
